Caretha Coleman

Caretha Coleman is Chair of the board of directors for Dignity Community Care; and she is a member of the board of Viridis Learning. She served as Chief Human Resources Officer for Software Publishing Corporation, where her leadership was instrumental in pioneering one of the first successful desktop computer software businesses. Getting her start at Hewlett Packard, Caretha has spent 40 years in the technology industry working with start-ups and early stage ventures in organizational strategy development, as well as executive coaching and effectiveness. An advocate for women and minorities in business, she has mentored young professionals and entrepreneurs across the country. Caretha’s non-profit work centers on underserved populations, and she chairs the board of The Leverage Network (TLN), is a board member of KIPP Schools in the Bay Area, and a national board member of Facing History and Ourselves.
