Lisa Opoku

Lisa is global head of the Goldman Sachs Partner Family Office. In this role, she oversees the full suite of the firm’s wealth management offerings for current and retired Goldman Sachs partners, managing directors and alumni. Lisa is also co-chair of the Americas Inclusion and Diversity Committee, a sponsor for the Firmwide Black Network and a member of the Women’s Network. Lisa is also a member of the Board of Advisors of Launch With GS and the Black Economic Alliance. Previously, she was global chief operating officer for the Engineering Division from 2015 to 2022. In this role, she oversaw the division’s technology, management and finance functions. Prior to that, Lisa was chief operating officer of the Global Markets Division in Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong. She joined Goldman Sachs in 2004 as chief operating officer of the Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities Bank Loan Syndications and Trading businesses in New York and London. She was named managing director in 2006 and partner in 2012. Lisa is chair emeritus to the Foundation of Orthopedics and Complex Spine and actively involved in the Dikembe Mutombo Foundation. Lisa earned a BA in Sociology, summa cum laude, from the University of Minnesota in 1993 and a JD from Harvard Law School in 1996.
